Who here is ready for the new year? My hand is firmly raised.
WHAT a year this has been. I don't need to tell you.
This week my blog will be brief, but to the point.
I want to simply thank you, dear readers, for joining me on this journey-- or you could say adventure if you like (*ahem* biz name!).
I started this small business, not only to celebrate parenting and be a platform of support for other parents, but because I had lost some sense of self. When I became a mother it was all consuming - as perhaps it should be for a little while- but there was nothing that was just mine- aside from being mummy. So this little business has enabled me to not only be mummy, but a business owner. With that I have learnt so much and I have been so much: a buyer, wrapper, negotiator, social media consultant, accountant, project manager, dancer (for when those orders do come through!), website designer, critic (I am learning not to be so hard on myself!), small business cheerleader (yay!) and so much more. To say this business journey has been eventful is an understatement. But I have also found a whole new community, of parents AND of small businesses, but mostly those who are both of these things- like me.
So as we approach a fresh new year, I am grateful for the journey I have been on this year and I am excited for the new challenges, trials, tribulations, but also triumphs and wins it may bring.
I am sending you all the virtual best wishes I can via this blog.
I truly hope we can all end 2021 saying "this was such a great year!".
We can but hope, right?
